General Updates

First, I've been meaning to post about some recent "Elizabethisms", or things she's doing/likes to do:

1. Everyone becomes a Peppa Pig character. "Yes, Mommy Pig!"
2. Responds to people (male or female) with "Yes sir, yes sir!"
3. We painted her nails for the first time a few weeks ago (she was completely still and patient). As soon as I finished she wanted the paint off immediately though.
4. E often likes us to sing her songs or sing with her, but other times she really does not want anyone else to sing along with her and says, "Shhhhh, no singing!"
5. She spells Daddy (guessing that was taught at school because we didn't teach her)
6. She still loves to talk about imaginary ghosts and watch the Mickey Mouse episode that has a lot of ghosts in it.
7. She has several ideas for what she will be next year for Halloween next year. Sometimes she wants  to be a pumpkin, a witch, a ghost, or a robot.
8. We try to talk about the baby coming often, but I don't think she's quite putting it together. Sometimes when she's finished eating she'll say, "I'm full, there's a baby in there" and pat her stomach.
9. She has the best manners anytime she does not want to do something. "No thank you, no thank you"
10. She needs bandaids for everything now (which come off a few minutes later). If she does anything, there is an immediate "Nandaid please".
11. She loves to tell people (mostly Brett or me), "Close eyes please, open eyes please, Happy Birthday Mommy" and then give us something (usually one of her toys or a basket of toys to look though).
12. She loves to say her full name, but she also likes to mess around with her last name. She usually says, "Elizabuff Rose Wowack" or "Elizabuff Rose Gogack"

As for Harrison updates, everything has been going pretty well. I felt kicking a little earlier with him than Elizabeth (probably just that I knew what it was earlier this time) at around 18 weeks. He kicks up a storm now! I'm still getting sick every couple of days (and sometimes several times a day), but at least it's not every day anymore. I failed my first 1 hour glucose test, so I had to take the dreaded 3 hour fasting text on Friday. Hopefully I will hear something back today. I am so scared they will put me on a diet and I'll have to take blood several times a day. Pregnant ladies don't diet!!

Dog update - dogs are good. We had a cancer scare with Lola about a month ago. She got a big bump on her back that lost all the hair. The bio came back uncertain so we had to repeat and send it off, but luckily it showed to be non-cancerous. Now they're just in for a rude awakening (just like Elizabeth) come July when Harrison gets here.

My C-Section has been scheduled for Wednesday, July 16th at noon. I will be 39 weeks that day. We were happy with the 16th since Brett and my anniversary is on the 16th (of August) and the dog's birthday is the 16th (September). Turns out July 16th is also Lori's parent's anniversary and our next door neighbor's birthday. It would have been neat to have him on the 23rd like Elizabeth, but I am happy to have him a week early! It gets rough at the end!
